Becoming

I am blessed to be the mother of two amazing boys and “Becoming” is inspired by the experience of watching them grow and become young men.  It  has been a life-changing experience, for as they become the persons they are to be, so I have also been transformed.  Love does that sort of thing.  

But, I also never was terribly interested in overly-sentimental images, for they don’t reflect my experience.  Indeed, any photo shoot was likely to result in someone in tears and often, one kid punching the other.  Our reality is deep love, plus all the usual drama of personalities and close quarters.   Imperfect and in process….
